A Sad day in my life - I love you Mum and will Miss you loads ...x

If you had been reading this blog and see me enjoying my trip to the US you may have wondered what happened when i headed for St Louis. Well i have not felt ready to post about this until now.....but while i was at the Info Summit with Dan Kennedy my Mum who was in hospital again fell seriously ill and was put on a ventilator to keep her alive. I somehow now had to get through the rest of the seminar know that when I flew home I would meet my family at the hospital to sit with Mum as she passed to the next world. To say the 7 hour flight was the toughest of my life would be an understatement.

Mum passed away on my return, peacefully having spent her last day with all of her closest family with her. May we all be so lucky I say.

She was an incredible lady, a powerhouse of love and courage who beat back her cancer for 21 years. Defying doctors attempts to tell her she had weeks to live on more than one occasion and proving it's not what you may have lost but what you have to live for that counts.

She was a bright light in this world and will be missed by me deeply. By my family, by her friends and by the people who she inspired with her story when she met them.

I speak this weekend in London at the Ultimate Business Seminar and I can tell you that this weekend i am speaking to honour her - and her legacy that lives on in me and my sister.

Please...if your Mum is still with you call her, visit her, hug her tell her just how much you love her as I know that when you can't do these things any more, you wish you had the chase to say it to her face just one last time.

I love you Mum. Always x

Sold by a Super Hero

I have had a fantastic time in San Francisco and I'm now heading to St Louis for the Dan Kennedy Info Summit which is always a cracking event.

Before I dash I must just share with you a great experience I had while wandering around Pier 39 their world famous tourist attraction.

A shop with some amazing items in the window stopped me in my tracks and just pulled me right in. The items in question were some signed photos of super hero movie starts along with rock stars etc. Now what made these items stand out so much was the way they had been mounted to add maximum value and WOW factor and boy did it work.

As I wondered around the sales person asked me a great question - "did I have any questions about any of the items on display?" well this got my attention as it's not often sales people in shop ask you anything other than "can i help you" which generate the usual response. I replied "yes as a matter of fact - where do you get all of these items?".

We then proceeded to enter into a long conversation and he even introduced me to the President of the company. They were clearly very proud of what they did and happy to show it off to me. They even managed to find some common ground with me as the sales person was born in the UK - great more rapport.

They then started to show me some of their custom designed frames and signed photos and I went for the one that JJ loves to watch all the time - The Incredibles. Sale made!

I am now on their mailing list and they even know to contact me for future super hero one off's if they have them how's that for driving up their customers life time value!

What a day to be in the USA!!

As I was having my breakfast this morning sitting in a harbor cafe in San Francisco I remembered just how lucky I am to do what I for a living and the fact that I get to travel to speak to business owners around the world and experience their cultures first hand.

Not only was the sun shining as I looked out over the bay at Alcatraz Iwas enjoy being an observer in what will be an historic day for this country whoever wins the election. Now don't worry I am not going to get political but it's a pleasure to be in this amazing country, yes with it's challenges, but to experience the passion and excitements about the potential for change is just amazing.

Why am I hear?

Well I'm in San Francisco to speak to 50 top traders at an amazing conference. My topic "How to take their trading business to the next level by eliminating belief blocks and personal constraints..."

Certainly a very interesting time to be speaking to this market, and an opportunity I am very excited about.

Anyway must dash as I am off to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
